Another Update

We had a birthday party for Laura on Friday, even though her birthday was yesterday. We had some cousins over for supper, and then a couple of them stayed overnight while AJ, Sharon, Garry, and I went to their place for the night. That was a lot of fun. :)
We didn't do much yesterday afternoon...I spent too much time on the computer again. :P Then after supper Sharon and I played Monopoly with Mom, then started 'Black Hawk Down' with Dad. The DVD is better quality than the video we had, I think, but I think I also noticed the swearing more. bleh. Why did they have to include that?

Update, sorta

Last night we went to AJ's for supper and to watch a soccer game on TV. I don't think I've ever watched a complete soccer game before. (And I didn't exactly see the complete game yesterday, I missed a little bit of it. :P ) It was fun, even though the team I was cheering for lost. That wasn't too bad, because both teams played well, and it's not like I was completely against the other team, especially once AJ started cheering for them. :D
Wondering if I should post a questionnaire (sp?) on here...I've already emailed it to several people, but I might change some of the answers if I put it up here. :)Hmm...
Anyway...what next? Maybe I should just log out now...bleh.

:D

Well, the recital went well. (lol) I had a bit of a memory slip, but apparently it wasn't too bad. :")
We're having piano lessons today. I think Garry's going now, Laura, Sharon, and I already had ours.
Grandma was here for a while this morning, too. She went out to take her sister to lunch, then I think they're coming here for supper. It's basically going to be Kathy's birthday supper, even though her birthday's tomorrow.
She's going to be three! Wow. :D

Hmm...

Most of us have a cold right now...I might have a little bit of one, but thankfully not much. As far as I know, only Dad and Laura and I are going to church today. I just hope we're all feeling better by tomorrow, because we've got a piano recital in the evening.
So...we didn't do much yesterday, since the little ones were sick. Garry, Laura, Mom and I went to the mall in the morning, then after lunch Dad and I went to the mall again, and to Blessings. Dad found Black Hawk Down at Zellers, two copies of it, actually. One copy was priced at nearly $30, and the other was $12 something. What's with that? Anyway, Dad gave me the money to get the cheaper one (obviously) so he could go somewhere else to get ink for the printer. Well, according to the computer , um, thing, Black Hawk Down actually cost $10.46, including GST. Well, that was great. :D Dad was really happy about that, of course. We already had a copy of the movie, but it wasn't very good quality.
Then at Blessings, I found a series of Christian manga books. I started looking at #2 before we had to leave (I didn't see #1), and it looked kinda interesting. So when we got home, I requested #1 from the library. The series is called Serenity. I don't think I'd really be interested in manga, but a couple of friends of mine (you know who you are) introduced me to the anime style of drawing, and I think it looks really neat. I haven't actually read any books like that though. I hope this series is OK. :P
