Most of us have a cold right now...I might have a little bit of one, but thankfully not much. As far as I know, only Dad and Laura and I are going to church today. I just hope we're all feeling better by tomorrow, because we've got a piano recital in the evening.
So...we didn't do much yesterday, since the little ones were sick. Garry, Laura, Mom and I went to the mall in the morning, then after lunch Dad and I went to the mall again, and to Blessings. Dad found Black Hawk Down at Zellers, two copies of it, actually. One copy was priced at nearly $30, and the other was $12 something. What's with that? Anyway, Dad gave me the money to get the cheaper one (obviously) so he could go somewhere else to get ink for the printer. Well, according to the computer , um, thing, Black Hawk Down actually cost $10.46, including GST. Well, that was great. :D Dad was really happy about that, of course. We already had a copy of the movie, but it wasn't very good quality.
Then at Blessings, I found a series of Christian manga books. I started looking at #2 before we had to leave (I didn't see #1), and it looked kinda interesting. So when we got home, I requested #1 from the library. The series is called Serenity. I don't think I'd really be interested in manga, but a couple of friends of mine (you know who you are) introduced me to the anime style of drawing, and I think it looks really neat. I haven't actually read any books like that though. I hope this series is OK. :P
